Cubaria

Cubaria is a 2D sandbox where the entire world is made of blocks and every one of them is yours to take. Each world is generated from scratch: snowy plains, green forests, a scorching desert and humid jungles, and beneath them lie layered caves, underground lakes and a burning hell at the very bottom.

Chop trees, mine copper, iron, silver and gold, smelt bars in a furnace and forge gear on an anvil — from a wooden pickaxe to a full set of golden armor. Build a house: add a door, a bed, a table and a torch, and a merchant will move in.

At night zombies and flying eyes come to the surface, skeletons and worms wait in the caves, and three bosses sleep in the depths: the Giant Eye, the Bone Golem and the Demon Lord. Water and lava really flow, and your progress saves to the cloud — close the tab and come back to your world later.
